1/2 year anniversary of being relaxer free!

Ok so i've been relaxer free for 6 months now and my hair is beginning to change! Ive been trying to transition to natural with out doing the "Big Chop" but tonight that may change. Of course im not going to go "fade/bald" short but I am cutting all of my split/dead ends off. I noticed how my hair has shedded tremendously and broke off due to the adjustment of no relaxer :( The texture of my hair is also changing which is making my hair less manageable. Soon I will be putting th LaBrasiliana Keratin treatment on my hair so im excited about keeping in healthy and straight. I avent been taking care of natural hair like im suppose to because my life has been crazy busy and because of that i have to cut some of it off tonight :( wish me luck!  Ill keep you posted on my journey :)

Product pic of the week is a leave-in conditioner made by it's a 10! I just tried this stuff 2 weeks ago on a few of my clients and I'm in love! Not only is the product weightless, but it provides a shine to the hair and adds keratin (protein) at the same time. This product is made for all hair textures!! I would recommend using this product immediately after washing the hair. Only 2 quarter size amounts is needed to cover the entire hair.  remember---->(a little goes a long way).  try it!

Ok ladies...the spring is here~ so that means its sandals & open-toe shoes time! PLEASE!! PLEASE!! PLEASE!! take care of your feet during this time of year! Wearing sandals, flat shoes, flip flops will cause your feet to be more exposed and open to dryness and hardening of the bottom of your feet. So lets keep those heels oiled, and dry skin off :) Annnnnnd...lets not forget your 10-little piggies...lol! Add some color to those toes!!!! (In my opinion) there is nothing more physically elegant about a woman...than her hands and feet. Trust me ladies, when we are checking for a man...we look directly at his shoes & clothes & when a man is checking for us he is looking directly at our hair and nails...lol!  So lets stay on our A-game as the seasons change. I do pedicures & manicures at the school....3 days a week...call me if you need me...913-782-4004 :)

I absolutely LOVE denim blazers :) They are cute, chic and can be paired with anything! Im n a mad hunt for one as we speak..I think I may find what Im looking for....just not in KC...lol!

Ahhh...God is so Good & so Faithful! I can honestly say he has kept through it all!!! I'm so excited to be more than half way done with hair school! Everything is going great in school. I just entered the BEACON contest w/ a chance to win an all expense paid trip for selected students to attend a 3-day hair training! That would literally be a dream come true if i won :) One of the requirements for the contest was to create a marketing piece to promote my portfolio &  the services I offer. WELL (drum roll please)....lol!  I created a web-site....woo hoo! check it out! www.myhairtherapy.com  I did it all by myself and I'm so proud of the work i did :) ...In no form am I  tech savvy person so working on this web-site truly pushed me out my comfort zone :) "Being comfortable is easy, but outside of your comfort zone is where progress is made"-T.woods original....lol..

Im ready to  add some color to my closet! I wasn't a big fan of bright colored suede shoes before...but after seeing the new spring collections from On-line shoe shopping it seems to be a hot trend. I may have to add some spice to my shoes by copping the green suede pumps...they are super DOPE!
