This has been a wonderful year for me...lots of ups & downs, but honestly if I had to do it all again I would. I am truly thankful for everyone that God has surrounded me with. I thrive off the energy of my loved ones and they are the reason I go out and do what I do each day ;) I hope that everyone takes the time to think about the things that they are thankful for during this holiday season....Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Hey guys,   This is for all you Flat iron addicts :) Redken Iron silk is an amazing heat protectant. It strengthens the hair strands and gives the hair a natural shine. It also offers a light hold so a lot of product is not required to be applied to the hair! you should try it....enjoy!!!

Going COCO Nutty :)

Not a big fan of make-up for myself... I normally wear a little lipstick and lip gloss, maybe a little eye shadow but thats it. I have nothing against a full face of make-up I actually love make-up on other people (when done properly). I just think I look better naturally no make-up needed :)

If I had to choose a make-up line I would definetely have to go with Mac.... I adore <3 Mac Make-up! I went to Arizona for a girls trip at the beginning of the year and while shopping I visited the MAC store and let the ladies at the Mac Counter do my make-up. I wasnt at all impressed but it was a fun experience. While at the mac counter the sales lady sold me on what is now one of my favorite make-up products of all time....their COCO NUTTY lipstick. Its not to dark and it also provides a bronze shimmer which gives a  perfect lip shade to pair with Mac's clear lip gloss!

Outfit pic of the Week :) Boyfriend Blazers are a must

I LOOOOOOVVVVEEEE Blazers to the max!!! They are so cute & simple ;) you can dress them up or dress them down.....I picked this black boyfriend blazer from Forever 21, paired with some black jeggins, plain fitted t-shirt & perfect pumps of your choice to complete the outfit! ( outfit oic of the week)I also think that blazers over dresses are dope too ;) Dont forget to accesorize!

Ok guys right now I'm loving design essentials sleek edge control Its a moisturizing, firm hold smoothing gel....Its great for slicking those edges down, not oily, and shows no residue on the side of your head...unlike those brown & white gels we have all used in the past...lol!  Try it....its awesome!

Hair School journey....

I hit 540 hours last week woo hoo!! even though I still have a long way to go...I can feel the end coming closer & closesr! So excited! Remaining humbled, positive & focused------> I refuse to complain about what I asked God for!!! please keep me in your prayers :)

For Colored Girls ...best hair review

I went to see For Colored Girls this weekend...and first off let me say Kudos to Tyler Perry for making such a great movie! I loved it! If I had to choose someone for Best Beauty award from the movie it would be Kerri Washington! Kerri had a natural look throughout the entire movie (not a lot of make-up) and her hair looked great! Kerri's long touseled  wave curls, deep side part & cute side bangs was perfect for "Kelly"-the character she played in the movie :) Just my opinion!
